New equipment for station

It’s been a long time coming but we recently received a grant and Go Fund Me donations to upgrade our 30 year old equipment in the studio.

Some of the gear is/was that ancient that it was made when debugging was picking flies out of relays.

Our new mixing console is now a fully functional asset for the station. It sounds much clearer that the old technology and is streamlined to operate for presenters.

Recently, we replaced our non functional Sound Processor and Encoder. So, we are now in stereo again.

Plus, 18 months ago we had a grant for backup power for emergency Broadcasting. So, it’s all moving along nicely.
