Kangaroo Island’s Voice Goes Statewide!

We had an incredible opportunity today to chat with Graeme Goodings on FIVEaa. We weren’t just there to talk radio; we were there to talk about us—the Kangaroo Island community.

From the vital role we play during natural disasters to being the central hub for local news, we shared how important it is to keep our residents informed when it matters most. But staying on the air in a rural area isn’t easy.

We discussed the “funding puzzle”—moving beyond limited local sponsorships to explore GoFundMe and newly available government grants that could finally help us upgrade our equipment.
