2026 Vision

Things I’d like to achieve as Chair of 5KIxFM in 2026

Asm Chair I have the following vision the station in 2026.

1. Engage with community groups and encourage more participation with radio.
2. Create more community awareness of 5KIxFM and community radio and ways to benefit by radio use.
3. Attend more outdoor events with our crew and Outside Broadcast van.
4. Encorage more people to become members and/or presenters.
5. Help local businesses to expand their reach by partnering with community radio.
6. More inteviews with locals and people abroad.

Community radio is a service to our Island and we would like all residents to feel free to use the service to benefit he community. Radio can spread the word about events, meetings, groups, sports and provide up-to-date information to every listener.
